1986 PORSCHE 930 TURBO

This 1986 911 Turbo is a ROW car that was delivered new in Germany and was sent to Gemballa at some point early in its life. The car was then exported to Japan and was later under the care of Auto Garage TBK. The heart of the Blackbird is a 3.4L Kremer Racing motor with Group B camshafts, custom exhaust including unequal length headers, K27 Turbo, large capacity oil cooler and rare period KREMER RACING intercooler. At 1 bar of boost, the engine is said to produce between 380-400 hp

Moving to the exterior, this 930 has Gemballa side skirts. mirrors and tail panel with Auto Garage TBK front and rear bumpers. a 964 3.8 Rs-style rear spoiler with raised wing completes the look-bringing the best of Germany and Japan together nicely. The wheels are as they should be-Work meister S1s wrapped in FALKEN Azenis RT615 tires- 225/45/ZR17 (F) and 275/40ZR17 (R).

Moving to the suspension, upgrades include custom valved Ennepetal Bilstein HD shocks as well as upgraded torsion bars and drop links. Brake upgrades include 993 Turbo "Big Red" front calipers and drilled rotors at all four corners.

The interior is a trip back to the 80s with peak Gemballa nuance. There are Gemballa color matched tan-face gauges, Gemballa branded door sills and custom leather abounds including the tan leather lower dash with (8) cassette storage holders and fully custom Gemballa door panels, console and shift boot. In the center of the lower dash is the empty space which housed the period Pioneer Centrate system. The JDM/Wangan influence is also on full display, with NRG Prisma seats, 10K RPM Sport Comp Tach, MOMO wheel and surface MSD box on the rear tunnel.
